Maine, part I

When people say the coast of Maine is rocky, they mean it.  Zoom in on each grain of sand until it's a rock, and you've got a Maine beach more or less.  I learned that Maine coastal towns are truly towns, minimally touristy, even places I've heard about a lot like Bar Harbor.  The coast is quiet and sleepy and a lifetime away from life, in a good way.

In late September, I vacationed along the Maine cost for a week, and this is the first round of photographs from that trip.
