The winter is not my friend and has been getting me particularly glum with the extra ridiculous cold recently, so yesterday I decided to tackle it head-on. Gearing up in full winter regalia and fully prepared for the tundra, I headed out to try to find something worth photographing around my yard. I'm not going to lie: it was slim pickings but I did find some interesting views of winter. I was able to appreciate the light cast by the low sun, discovered snow shadows next to larger plants, and capture the sunset against the Blue Ridge mountains.
Returning inside, Gretchen seemed to indicate an interest in wearing my scarf, so we played dress-up, which was much more fun than spending time outside!
