Williamsport, PA

This summer included a late June/early July trip to Williamsport, PA, whose claim to fame is as the city that birthed Little League Baseball and the host location for the annual Little League World Series.  More importantly, its where my dad lived for a while when growing up and is a mere 16 miles from the world-famous, stoplight-free Salladasburg, PA, founded by my ancestors (my maiden name is Sallada).  The trip included a stop at the historic Little League World Series original playing field, a walk on the Pine Creek Rail Trail near Lock Haven, PA, and some views along the Susquehanna River.
